SUPPORT FOR WINDOWS OPERATING SYSTEMS – XP end of life
As you are likely aware the lifecycle of Microsoft’s operating system, Windows XP Professional is due to end on 8th April 2014.Microsoft has therefore advised replacement of existing XP operating systems with Windows 7 or Windows 8(.1). Due to the differences between Windows XP and these newer operating systems, Mitutoyo software’s have been modified in order to support Windows 7 and Windows 8(.1). If you are using any Mitutoyo software, please bear in mind that an upgrade to support new operating systems may be required.
